NOTICE OF SPECIAL GENERAL MEETING
TO BE HELD 6PM THURSDAY 20th AUGUST 2020
AT THE CLUBHOUSE AND BY ZOOM VIDEO CONFERENCING
To consider, and if thought fit, the adoption of the following special resolution:
That the amended constitution presented to members be adopted.
A copy of the proposed constitution and explanatory memorandum can be found by going to the documents section of the website.
The Club is entitled to hold meetings via electronic means however we are hopeful of also conducting the meeting in person if restrictions are lifted by this date. Members wishing to attend via zoom, should register on the website as follows – log into the website, go to the events section and find the special general meeting event, open it and then register. An invitation with the details of the meeting will be sent to you.
Members may lodge a proxy containing the information in the form in the notice sent to members. Proxies need to be received by the Secretary no later than 24 hours before the meeting either by mail or by email to secretary@mercantile.org.au.
