Rowing Australia (RA) wishes to provide an update on its National Events calendar for 2022.
RA continues to plan for the safe and successful delivery of the following National Events in 2022:
- Australian Rowing Championships – 28 March – 3 April, Sydney International Regatta Centre, Penrith, NSW
- Australian Masters Rowing Championships – 19 – 22 May, Champion Lakes, Perth, WA
- Australian Coastal and Beach Sprints Championships – Noosa Heads, QLD/Date TBC
- Australian Indoor Rowing Championships – Date/Locations TBC
The health and safety of our competitors, volunteers, staff and spectators will remain at the forefront of our decision making. All RA events will strictly adhere to the Public Health Advice relevant to each location.
Working together with our State Rowing Associations, RA will continue to closely monitor the situation and work with the State Governments and their Event Agencies that are due to host the Regattas.
RA acknowledges as a priority the ability for all rowers around Australia to compete at these events.
RA will provide another update on 1 December, 2021, unless information becomes available sooner.
In relation to NSW events, additional information will be made available from NSW Health relating to sporting events on 1 December.
Please note: all RA event dates and locations are subject to change.
