Lifting of some restrictions

Great news, we are back on the water and into the boathouse. Given the available space, we will need to restrict access to 30 people in the boathouse at any one time. The high performance team will have priority on the weekday and Saturday mornings. Clubbies and masters can use the Club in the evenings and at other times.

Some details:

  1. High performance team will manage the density limit to no more than 30 people upstairs at any one time and so will implement staggered start times.
  2. Face masks must always be carried and worn indoors and outdoors when not exercising. Do not come to the shed if you are unwell. If you develop symptoms please get a test and isolate until your result. Wash your hands and clean your equipment thoroughly (especially oar handles).
  3. Coaches, or in the case of clubbies and masters crews, strokes will act as COVID marshalls and ensure compliance with QR code check-ins
  4. As seen above, we will continue zoom viewing of the Olympics for all non-active athletes. If there are less than 30 athletes at the sheds and they are wearing masks, coaches can put on the Olympics on the big screen.
  5. No Saturday breakfast at this stage. Restrictions permitting, we are still considering 2 sittings of not more than 30 people in any one session. More advice on this will follow.
