Some excellent results at the NSW Championships last weekend. Podium finishers were:
- Sophie Reinehr - gold in the women's under 23 scull
- Louise Bongrain - silver in the women's under 23 scull
- Austin Reinehr - silver in the men's under 23 pair (composite with MUBC)
- Jess Morrison - gold in the women's pair (composite with Fremantle's Annabelle McIntyre) - Kat Werry in fourth palce and Paige Barr in fifth.
- Jess also won the four with Kat Werry in third place
- Bronte Cullen and Anna Morrison - silver in women's under 21 pair (Remy McKay and Jess Hawker in fourth place)
- Our women's youth eight finished third
- Our men's youth eight finished third also
- Angus Widdicombe finished in a composite crew to finsh third in the men's four
- In the men's coxed four, Angus Widdicome joined with Jack Robertson, Dom Frederico and Austin Reinehr, coxed by James Rook, to finish second.
- Oscar Tyrrell finished second in the under 21 double with a Queensland sculler
- He then doubled up in a Queensland lightweight eight which finished in third place
- The winning lightweight eight was a Victorian composite crew with Ben Whitmee, Jordan Roberts and Stephen O'Sullivan included.
- Of course Jess Gallagher was not to be denied a win in PR3 pair.
- Our women's eight finished second comprising Louise Bongrain, Bronte Cullen, Anna Morrison, Sophie Reinehr, Jess Morrison, Mimi Tuddenham, Kat Werry, Paige Barr, Cox: Hayley Verbunt
- The last, but certainly not the least, our young star Cate McNeil took out the under 16 single from 59 entrants.
