The performance group and our Clubbies made the regatta this weekend very successful for Mercs. Before we get to details, the regatta was superbly managed by our own Duncan MacKinnon. It was quite a task with two very long days and extensive preparation - just like rowers and coaches.

Our Clubbie group is now making an equal contribution to our success with our performance group. Our strategic plan has only four objectives, with the two on water objectives being a successful performance group and an equally successful Clubbie group. The plan is working. Well done to both groups.

Obviously plenty of second and third placings. Some deserve special mention. Men's and Women's Open scull and a great result for 13 year old Cate McNeil finishing second in under 15 scull. Keep up the great work Cate.
