Mercs members shine at the Rowing Australia 2023 Awards

Mercs members figured highly in the sports night of nights on Friday, 2023 at the Hancock Prospecting Rower of the Year Awards.

Jess Morrison was named as part the women's crew of the year, the women's pair, Austin Reinehr was names as part of the Pathway crew of the year, and Pat McNamara was inducted as a life member of Rowing Australia. Congratulations to all theses proud Mercs members.

The female Crew of the Year went to the Women’s Pair of Jess Morrison OAM and Annabelle McIntyre OAM, who won a Silver Medal at the World Rowing Championships and twin Gold Medals at the World Rowing Cups and Austin Reinehr's crew won gold at 2023 World Under 23 Championships.
