Mercs at the Head of the Schoolgirls Regatta

Mercantile had many connections with this regatta with many junior school members participating. Probably our youngest competing member Cate McNeil competed for her school in the year 9 quad sculls. Of note amongst the many other girls were the President Gina Peele's daughter Zara winning the school eights division 1 for St Catherine's and Chloe Robinson taking bronze in the Open 1x.'
