Member profiles - Newcomb and Wraith

Two legends of the Club are given rowing profiles this month - past Captain and youth rowing mastermind, Simon Newcomb, and past Captain Richard Wraith. Both are great stories and worthy of you attention.

Simon Newcomb is one of a kind. He is an enthusiast whose vision is to enable everyone young person to have the opportunity to row. In pus=rsuing this aim, he started two rowing clubs, with one ending up to be one of the largest in Australia with over 250 young rowers at its peak.

Richard Wraith was one of our successful lightweights who has been one of our great administrators.
