Our Paralympic rower Jessica Gallagher has won two Gold Medals at the 2022 Commonwealth Games in Birmingham, England. Gallagher won Gold in the Women’s Tandem B Sprint and the Tandem B 1000 metre Time Trial (Para Cycling). Congratulations Jess.

Jess was one of our outstanding athletes at the Australian Championships winning 4 gold medals, an outstanding performance. She then competed in the PR3 Mixed Coxed Four at World Cup I in Belgrade Serbia in May 2022, where she and her crew won a Silver Medal. Jess is coached by Rowing Australia Para Head Coach, Gordon Marcks who said, “Jess is an amazing competitor, but more importantly, she is an amazing person.” 

Jess will be returning to Australia to train in the PR3 Mixed Coxed Four ahead of the World Championships.

Joining her in Birmingham was her club rowing coach Sam Fennessy.
