In day 2 of World Cup 3, two Mercantile members raced for A final places. Jess Morrison in the women's pair with partner Annabelle McIntyre, again showed their class and why they are favourites in this event. They won their semi-final in the fastest time.

Sadly Fergus Hamilton was unable to replicate heat racing in his newly created pair in the men's pair semi-finals. Heand partner Simon Keenan wil have to race in the B final.

In other races, the Australian men's four won their semi-final, as did Tara Rigney in the scull, also in the best time. Sadly our lightweight single scullers missed out on podium finishes in their respective final As, and the lightweight double sculls all finished in the C finals. Also disappointed were our women's quad and men's double who were both relegated to final B.

Australia is well represented in the A finals as follows. The times quoted are of course in Central European Time.
