The date for the 2021 Head of the Yarra is Saturday 27th November, however .....

It was with great regret that Hawthorn Rowing Club decided it cannot reliably and safely run the national Head of the Yarra in 2021. The combination of COVID issues, particularly at the finish, and the sewer construction works have meant that the 2021 HOTY is cancelled.

In its place we will run a Victorian Eights Challenge which will be able to cope more robustly and safely with the uncertainty of COVID .
